Benefits of our Team Building Program
Collaborative Kinesthetics’ programs inherently include plenty of laughter and physical activity as well as valuable relational and communication skills, all aiming to increase connection and sense of belonging within a group.

TEAMwork is the greatest benefit of them all; we start by building trust. As we gain trust in ourselves and others, we can show up more authentically. As authenticity increases, we feel more meaning in tasks. When our actions carry more meaning, we are more engaged. This TEAM cycle is at the core of our program.
Our games and exercises involve two or more people working together to accomplish things they could not do alone; these activities range from basic weight-sharing and trust-building to lifting another person completely off the ground.

Our experience has led us to develop the technique of SHARED communication: Specific, Honest, Aware, Reciprocal, Empathic, Diligent. The combination of these six principles while communicating helps create an atmosphere where everyone feels that they belong and are cared for, two characteristics that are vital to a successful workplace.
We place emphasis on honest and effective communication of one’s needs as well as active, open-minded listening. By relating with one another in these authentic ways, teammates organically develop a deeper connection and trust with one another.

As we grow out of childhood, we often lose sight of our innate sense of play; but we don’t have to. Our programs foster a playful mentality, regaining ties to the joy and curiosity we possess as children, which allow us to be more present!
Collaborative Kinesthetics uses play and fun as the gateway to deeper learning. Relational and communication skills are embedded in our play and movement-based activities, offering the chance to actively use these skills in a low-stress, highly enjoyable environment.
“Without trust we don’t truly collaborate; we merely coordinate or, at best, cooperate. It is trust that transforms a group of people into a team.”
